Entire Mirror Assemblies:
We use only genuine parts although in some cases, you may choose cheaper aftermarket options if you prefer.
Mirror Glass:
Car Mirrors provides ADR compliant automotive mirror glass for all vehicles. This includes flat mirrors, convex mirrors, mirrors with blindspot warning lights (lane assist) and mirrors with black lines (BMW, Mercedes, Fiesta etc). We never simply stick glass on top! Rather, we remove the old glass completely and fit new glass within the backing for a flawless factory finish.
Mirror Motors:
Mirrors have 3 types of mechanism; manual adjusted, electricly adjusted and autofold. We replace and repair mirror motors for all models at great rates which saves you buying a new entire unit which would otherwise be the only option.
Autofold motors are those which fold the entire unit in towards the door itself… not to be confused with the motor that moves the glass around when adjusting. Autofold motors cannot be repaired so if damaged which is often the case in vehicles such as Landcruiser Prado which once hit, tend to fold forwards too far.
Don’t waste money buying a new unit when we can come to you and fix just the motor.
Mirror Covers:
Mirror covers are generally painted the same colour as your vehicle but some also are an unpainted black plastic finish.
Covers should not be confused with the mirror housing which except for in the case of VW or Honda, is part of the assembly itself. VW and Honda, have a number of separate components meaning breaking part of the body, does not always require complete replacement.
