Which Golf Have You Got? Mk6, Mk7 or Mk8 Glass
This is the whole reason we insist on a photo before we quote a Golf. The glass changed meaningfully across generations, and the wrong piece simply will not sit or clip correctly. A Mk6 (roughly 2009-2013) uses a different backing plate and clip pattern to a Mk7 (2013-2020), and the Mk8 (2020-on) moves things again with its more integrated housing and camera-capable mirrors on higher trims. Layer heated elements, Side Assist blind-spot glass and aspherical driver's glass on top of that, and there are far more Golf variants than most people expect.
