Blind-spot and heated mirrors carry their feature inside the glass itself, not somewhere else in the mirror housing. A blind-spot mirror has a warning icon built into the glass; a heated mirror has a thin heating element bonded to the back of it. What's actually built into the glass
Two separate features, sometimes on the same mirror, both living inside the glass pane rather than elsewhere in the housing.
A thin film bonded to the back of the glass with two electrical terminals — demists the mirror in cold or wet conditions.
A small illuminated icon embedded in the glass itself, lighting up when a vehicle is detected in your blind spot.
