Workmate or SR5 — what changes
Trim level decides the part. These four differences account for almost every wrong-part job we see.
Workmate mirrors fold by hand. Higher trims carry a fold motor and a completely different housing.
Later trims heat the mirror off the rear-demist circuit. Plain glass on a heated truck loses the demist for good.
Most later HiLux mirrors carry the repeater in the cover, and it is replaceable on its own.
Recent dual cabs put the warning icon inside the glass, which changes the part number entirely.

Utes take far more cover damage than glass damage. If the mirror still adjusts, folds and flashes, a scuffed or cracked cover is a $150 to $300 job — not a reason to replace the whole mirror.
