Can you repair a side mirror, or does it always need replacing?
Most of the time we can repair it. Loose housings, torn backing plates, worn fold clips and seized adjuster motors are all repairable. We only replace the full unit when the damage genuinely requires it, and even then only the part that is broken.

Do I need to be there for the repair?
For glass-only work, no — it is done from outside the vehicle. For jobs that need the door trim opened we will arrange a time that suits you.
Is the repair guaranteed?
Yes, in writing, and the term depends on what was fitted. Mirror glass carries an unlimited warranty for as long as you own the vehicle, covering manufacturing and workmanship. A full mirror assembly carries a three-year written warranty. An individual replacement part — a motor, a cover, an indicator or a camera cap — carries a twelve-month warranty on that part and the workmanship to fit it. Impact, accident damage, misuse and negligence are excluded across all three.
How fast can you get to me in Sydney?

My mirror flaps or grinds when it folds. Is that repairable?
Usually yes. That noise is nearly always a worn fold clip or a tired motor, both of which are replaceable on their own without touching the glass or the housing.
The mirror moves on its own at highway speed. Can you fix that?
Yes. A mirror that drifts or shakes at speed is normally a loose housing or a worn adjuster mechanism rather than a failed mirror, and both are straightforward repairs.
Do you repair the interior mirror on the windscreen?
No. We work on the exterior side mirrors only. The interior mirror is bonded to the windscreen and that is auto glazier work.
